Things I Love about North Carolina

There are a few things that I have really fallen in love with here. The first thing is the cardinals! They are so bright and pretty. Our neighbors have a bird feeder, so we get to watch them all day long.

The next thing is driving down the little country roads. This is a picture of the drive by Cady's school.

I also love the woods everywhere. Except when I realized that woods meant snakes. We had a huge black snake in our front yard. It took me a few days to get brave enough to go out and get the mail.

  2. That is a great post - I know the move has been hard, so it is nice so see some good things. It is hard to imagine your life there!

  3. Those streets look amazing! It is so different from here that I am having a hard time imagining driving them every day. It looks like such a nice place.
P.S. Is that a homemade butterfly cake for Cady's birthday? Fabulous!
