I am in trouble. I am a blog slacker! I have been threatened that I must update my blog or else! What exactly do you think they can do to me from 2500 miles away?
I have been a little busy the last couple of weeks. Our house has popcorn ceilings, and Nathan and I both hate them. So last week, I decided to start taking the popcorn off. I taped plastic over the entire room and went to work. You just spray some water on the ceiling and scrape it off. I was so proud of myself. So the next day, I started sanding the ceiling to make sure it is smooth. The sanding part is not so fun. When I was finished sanding, Nathan painted the ceiling and it looks awesome! So I decided to start on the dining room. It is ready to paint now. It is amazing how much taller and cleaner the ceiling looks. Who had the bright idea of popcorn ceilings?

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have been working really hard. It does feel so great when you accomplish something big like that and it turns out looking great. You will have to post some pics of the fresh-popcorn free-ceilings!

I'm so jealous! How do you find out what year the nasty popcorn was installed, I heard that according to the year - it may or may not have asbestos? I want to know if I can attempt to remove mine or if it would just give me cancer:(.
